The Juvenile Justice Advisory Board is pleased to announce its 2017 conference “Strengthening the Community Response to Increase Successful Outcomes for Our Youth” is now open for registration! Sessions will focus on juvenile justice systems improvements, racial disparities, prevention programming, school programming, and law enforcement responses. The agenda is attached. Who should attend: Anyone who works with youth involved with or at risk for being involved with the juvenile justice system, anyone that has been involved with the juvenile justice system, and anyone interested in learning more about the juvenile justice system.
What: Participants will have the opportunity to network, collaborate and hear from system involved youth in order to increase identification of mental health needs, trauma symptoms, and hear what would have been helpful for youth with the goal of increasing diversion from the system to provide successful outcomes for our youth!
Cost: There is no cost to attend.
